Myrtle Annie Day was born on January 21, 1917 to Jame and Laly (Phillips) Sweaney and departed this life on February 2, 2013 at Woodland Manor, Springfield, MO. At the time of her passing she was ninety six years of age.

Myrtle was united in marriage to Wallace Day on March 31, 1934 and to this union three children were born.

Proceeding Myrtle in death were her parents; husband Wallace Day; her siblings, Nola Holiday, Deliah Howerton, Gladys Cunningham, Arlen Sweaney, Sheridan Sweaney, and Louie McClung.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joan Milner Chelmsford, MA, and Sandra Freeze and husband Jimmy, Dadeville, MO; one son, Dale Day and wife Jean, Marshfield, MO; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Myrtle Annie Day will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 5, 2013 in Graham Cemetery, Conway, MO, under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, MO.
